Health & Safety Policy

Cleaning & sanitation

• High-touch surfaces (tables, easels, sinks, door handles) are wiped between sessions with child-safe disinfectants.
• Sensory materials — water, sand, clay — are refreshed daily and fully replaced on a rotating schedule.
• Toys, LEGOS, and props are washed at the end of each day.
• Restrooms and changing areas are checked hourly during open hours.

Illness policy

Please stay home and rebook if anyone in your party has experienced any of the following in the last 24 hours:

• Fever of 100.4°F or higher
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Unexplained rash, pink eye, or open sores
• Persistent cough or symptoms of a contagious illness

If a child becomes unwell during a visit, we will ask the family to head home and will happily rebook.

Allergies

• Fun Together is a nut-free studio. Please do not bring food containing peanuts or tree nuts.
• Art materials are non-toxic and, where possible, dye- and fragrance-free.
• Tell a staff member about any allergies at check-in so we can adjust materials or snacks.

Supervision

• An adult (18+) must stay with each child. We do not accept drop-offs.
• Staff maintain sightlines across all studios and monitor sensory and climbing areas closely.
• At least one staff member on shift is trained in pediatric CPR and first aid.

Safe materials & equipment

• Paints and clays are certified non-toxic and labeled AP (Approved Product) by ACMI.
• Furniture is rounded, low-height, and secured where needed.
• Soft play elements are cleaned daily and inspected weekly for wear.

Emergency procedures

• Posted evacuation routes, fire extinguishers, and a stocked first-aid kit at the front desk.
• Emergency contact and allergy notes for each child are kept accessible during your visit.
• In a medical emergency, staff will call 911 and then the emergency contact on file.

Reporting a concern

If something isn't right — a spill, a broken item, a safety concern, or feedback on our practices — please tell a staff member or email hello@funtogether.studio. We take every report seriously.
